Rudaibacter terrae gen. nov., sp. nov., isolated from greenhouse soil.
A novel Gram-stain-positive, non-motile, rod-shaped bacterium, designated 5GHs34-4(T), was isolated from greenhouse soil in Yongin, Republic of Korea. Growth occurred in the temperature range of 10-37 °C (optimum 28-30 °C) and at pH 5.0-9.0 (optimum pH 7.0). It can tolerate up to 3 % (w/v) NaCl. The strain showed 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity levels of 95.1-97.0 % with species of the genus ...

20 A bacterial strain designed M1MS02 was isolated from a surface sterilised nodule of 21 Medicago sativa in Zamora (Spain). The 16S rRNA gene sequence of this strain showed 22 96.5 and 96.2% identities, respectively, with respect to Gluconacetobacter liquefaciens 23 IFO 12388 and Granulibacter bethesdensis CGDNIH1 from the Family 24 Acetobacteraceae. The isolate was Gram negative, non-sporulat...
متن کاملFlavihumibacter petaseus gen. nov., sp. nov., isolated from soil of a subtropical rainforest.
A yellow-coloured bacterium, T41(T), was isolated from a soil sample of a subtropical rainforest in Nepal. Cells were Gram-reaction-positive, aerobic, non-motile, short rods. Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences indicated that the strain formed a cluster with Terrimonas ferruginea, Terrimonas lutea, Niabella soli, Flavisolibacter ginsengiterrae, Flavisolibacter ginsengisoli, N...
متن کاملActinorectispora indica gen. nov., sp. nov. isolated from soil, a member of the family Pseudonocardiaceae.
The taxonomic positions of three Gram-stain-positive, aerobic strains, designated YIM 75722, 75726 and 75728T, and isolated from a soil sample collected from Kurnool of Andhra Pradesh province, India, were assessed using a polyphasic approach. Growth was observed at pH 7.0-10.0 (optimum pH 7.0), 15-28 °C (optimum 28 °C) and 0-8 % (w/v) NaCl (grew without NaCl). Strains showed cylindrical spores...
متن کاملOrnithinimicrobium humiphilum gen. nov., sp. nov., a novel soil actinomycete with L-ornithine in the peptidoglycan.
A Gram-positive bacterium originating from garden soil was taxonomically studied. Cells are non-motile, non-sporulating, irregular rods and cocci. The cell wall peptidoglycan contains L-ornithine as diagnostic diamino acid and an interpeptide bridge consisting of L-Orn<--L-Ala<--Gly<--D-Asp. The major menaquinone is MK-8(H4). 13-Methyl tetradecanoic acid and 14-methyl pentadecanoic acid are the...
